MEET THE OWNER
JOANN SOLOMON
I was initially drawn into the wedding industry in beauty school. I was hired to do a brides hair and makeup, as well as her family.
I was hooked.
Being a bride's beauty consultant is a responsibility I've always taken very seriously.
Over the years, I have done over 300 weddings.
I have nearly twenty years of experience doing hair and makeup for brides. I have built my own team. I wanted a diverse group of artists, for all of my clients, especially women of color.
We prioritize comfort and small details when you become a JoAnn Solomon Beauty bride. Like you, only better, is how I want you to look and most importantly feel.
I have published writings, am an esthetician, a cosmetologist, and an expertise in beauty. Beyonce has given me the privilege of shopping for her personal cosmetics. How Large Of A Party Can You Do Makeup For?We can cater to large we have done up to 35 guests, and all shapes and sizes are welcome. The best news is no one will need their own makeup. We bring everything. We specialize in natural and soft glam makeup. We do all hair types. We will try our best to work with you, and inquire to find out more.

What Should I Expect To Happen At My Bridal Consultation?During the bridal consultation, we’ll look at your makeup likes and dislikes, your dress, flowers, colors, and hair to create a bridal look that’s you. We’ll do a complete makeup run-through to make sure everything is perfect for your special day and discuss details such as time and location. If you would like, have pictures on hand of makeup you like and don’t like, and pictures of your dress, hair, and colors. I suggest booking the consultation on a day you’re going to go out someplace special to show off. The consultation takes about 90 minutes.

Why Is Airbrush Makeup Better Than Traditional Makeup?Since airbrush makeup is sprayed onto the skin instead of being rubbed onto the skin, it doesn’t magnify pores and it allows your skin to breathe. Airbrush makeup blends onto your skin perfectly, giving you flawless coverage and creating a seamless veil of color over your skin. Airbrush makeup needs very little powdering and virtually no re-applying. It looks natural on camera, video, or in person as if you’re wearing no makeup at all and have perfect skin. It can cover almost any skin imperfection without looking unnatural or “cakey”.

Do you do sew in weaves?we can "style" your sew in but we do not offer the sew in service. We do work with lace fronts.
